ALLin4WorkReady

Enroll

This year, WorkReady programs have been redesigned to be digital experiences. Participants will be paid through incentives with the opportunity to earn up to $595 over the course of the program. Programs are on rolling start from June 22.

If there is an opportunity for in-person experiences, additional enrollment documents may be needed at a later date.

WorkReady Youth

What is Enrollment?

Enrollment is the second step of the WorkReady process. Youth complete and sign required paperwork along with submitting copies/pictures of vital documents.

Enrollment is by invitation only. Due to COVID-19 stay-at-home orders, enrollment sessions have been moved to an electronic process with the ability to be completed on a mobile device or computer. A secure folder will be shared with each individual submitting enrollment packets. Be sure to actively check your email.

Instructions for enrollment

A parent must submit a request for an application and instructions will be sent via email.

Complete Enrollment Packet:

If you’re 13-24 years old, you will receive an email indicating a WorkReady Partner Organization has expressed interest in working with you this summer. This email will include the fillable electronic enrollment packet and a list of vital documents necessary to receive incentives (i.e. social security card, school/state ID). For a full list of acceptable documents, visit workready.org. You will need to provide digital copies of these documents by scanning them or taking clear digital photographs. Please note that digital experiences that are incentive-based do not require a work permit.
  • If you are under the age of 18, a parent/guardian’s electronic signature is required on some forms. You can complete the enrollment packet using a computer, mobile, or tablet device.
  • You may need to download Adobe Reader on your device to open and complete the required fields the enrollment packet. Adobe Reader is free and can be found in the app store or online.

Create ShareFile Account and Upload Documents:

Within 72 hours of the initial email, you will receive a separate email from ShareFile Support, a secure document sharing webpage, inviting you to create a ShareFile account. Use ShareFile to upload your completed enrollment packet and submit scanned files or photographs of your vital documents. DO NOT EMAIL ANY DOCUMENTS. These documents contain private information and need to be sent and received securely.

Document Review:

Once you have completed and uploaded the enrollment packet and vital documents, your materials will be reviewed. A summer program partner may reach out to you to request any changes to your enrollment packet or additional documents that are needed, so be sure to check your email often! If you are selected, your partner organization will share details about your digital or in-person experience.
